Managing Partner
One of the greatest experts in innovation management from the national public-private partnership perspective. After working as CEO of Innovation and Management of Public Health and later launching the Axencia Galega de Innovación in the Xunta de Galicia, he joined private consulting in 2016 as managing partner of Knowsulting.
Specialist at the COTEC Foundation in Public Procurement of Innovation, twice winner of the National Award in this subject by the Ministry of Science, he has participated in more than 100 projects in this field in recent years, heading or participating in leading initiatives such as Hospital 2050/Innova-Saúde, the Civil UAVs Initiative, the Canarias Geo Innovation Programme 2030, or the ISAR project.
Since 2016, he has been working as a consultant. His clients include more than half of the Ministries, Autonomous Communities and Regional Health Services, in addition to those of the main cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Bilbao, Valencia and Santiago de Compostela, among others) and national public entities (Navantia, ADIF, Sasemar, CDTI, SEAD, Puertos del Estado, Euskotren and ETS, among others).
He has worked as an advisor ever since to more than 15 multinationals in their marketing processes for innovative solutions aimed at the public sector, with high success rates and always upholding the highest standards in compliance.
He is an expert not only in public procurement (a field in which he has taught more than 100 training courses in the last 3 years), but also in the design and implementation of major innovation strategies (RIS3 Galicia, Biscay Silver Economy Strategy, Sodercan Strategic Plan, etc.), as well as in tech-transfer programmes and major investment-attraction programmes.
